Inspiration: Walk On the Water from Britt Nicole
Britt Nicole’s song “Walk on The Water” from her album The Lost Get Found is great inspiration to anyone to have faith in God and take chances when following the dreams in their hearts (I also love the version on her Acoustic album as well):
Walk On the Water Acoustic Version at the KLOVE Studio
Britt Nicole – Walk On The Water – The Story Behind The Song
Walk on the Water LyricsYou look around
It’s staring back at you
Another wave of doubt
Will it pull you under
You wonderWhat if I’m overtaken
What if I never make it
What if no one’s there?
Will you hear my prayer? When you take that first step
Into the unknown
You know that He won’t let you go…

Inspiration: Spensha Baker on Purpose
“Gospel is so real to me and I wanted to stay true to it…A lot of people can sing, you can sing about the things, the feelings, but I wanted to sing about the Giver… It’s important for young people to be sold out for Christ, that’s what’s going to matter in the end. Everything else is vapor. What you do for God is going to count. So that would be my encouragement to young people.” – Spensha Baker in an interview on TBN
Spensha Baker reminds us that our purpose is to live for God, in this beautiful song – “Purpose” from her album “Outloud!” Visit her website www.spenshaonline.com to keep up with her current updates or follow her on Twitter: @spenshabaker
Purpose Lyrics
My purpose is to praise You
My longing is to worship you
My life desires to live for YouI worship You
For the mighty things You do
I worship You
‘Cause in spite of all my misery
And all the things I can not see
I know I can call out Your name

Inspiration: True Things from JJ Heller
True Things fromJJ Heller‘s album Painted Red speaks so simply and truly to the fact that we aren’t defined by material or physical things by what is deeper and truer…
True Things LyricsI’m not the clothes I’m wearing
I’m not a photograph
I’m not the car I driveI’m not the money I make
I’m not the things I lack
I’m not the songs that I writeI am… who I am
I am who I amThere are true things inside of me
I have been afraid to see
I believe, help my unbelief
Would you say again what you said to me
I am loved and I am free
I believe, help my unbelief

MIKESCHAIR Visiting Tornado Victims, Inspiration from Keep Changing the World & New Single Someone Worth Dying For
Recently MIKESCHAIR traveled to Madison, Alabama, with Way-FM to visit some of those hit hardest by the devastating tornadoes that went through the southeast in April 2011. The aftermath of the storms are heartbreaking to see, yet every helping hand helps. The band encourages everyone to visit www.inside-outministries.org or www.redcross.org to see how you can help those affected by the storm.
The message of their song “Keep Changing the World” featuring clips of their mission trip to Peru, is a fitting reminder of how we can impact the world through God’s love represented through action…
MIKESCHAIR’s new single “Someone Worth Dying For” is currently available on iTunes (take a listen below). Stay tuned to their site for more updates and tour dates: www.mikeschair.com

Mandisa Sings An Acoustic Version of “Stronger” from Her New Album What If We Were Real
When the waves are taking you under
Hold on just a little bit longer
He knows that this is gonna make you stronger, stronger
The pain ain’t gonna last forever
And things can only get better
Believe me
This is gonna make you stronger
– From Mandisa’s song “Stronger”
In this video Mandisa sings an acoustic version of “Stronger,” the first single off of her new album What If We Were Real; I love the encouraging message:
Below Mandisa explains the meaning of the song “What If We Were Real,” the title track from her new album:
More about Mandisa’s album What If We Were Real
Often an artist’s strengths inspire their best work. But for acclaimed contemporary Christian singer Mandisa, it’s her very human flaws and frailties that gave birth to her stellar third album, What If We Were Real. The two-time GRAMMY ® nominee knows that nobody is perfect—and she wants her fans to realize that, too. Her new career-defining project, released on Sparrow Records, reminds us all that everyone struggles. The concept of the album—which follows 2007’s exploration of inner grace, True Beauty, and 2009’s look at personal emancipation, Freedom—came to Mandisa as she bared her soul to her more than 20,000 followers on Twitter (@mandisaofficial).
“A lot of people think we as Christians have to put our masks on and pretend that everything is great. But I was really amazed at the responses I’d get when I’d Tweet that I was struggling, or needed prayer with something, or having a bad day,” she explains. “People said, ‘I’m glad to know I’m not the only one.’ Or ‘I need prayer for that too.’ It surprised me that people thought I had it all together. The truth of the matter is I have bad days too and am still learning to bring that to the Lord and let Him lift my burden.”

Check out the official music video for Hawk Nelson’s song Crazy Love from their album of the same name, and a fun remix featuring the team from the 2011 Revolve Tour. (In a recent interview Jason Dunn said the name of the album was inspired by Francis Chan’s book of the same title.)

We’re the ones who believe in the things unseen
This home, this body is the in-betweenWe’re the ones who fight down on our knees,
Who dare to love our enemiesThey say it sounds insane
We say that we’ve been changed by the power of crazy love
This world, it looks at us like we’re ridiculous
Baby, it’s all because of crazy loveWe’re the ones gonna put it all in reverse
Gonna die to ourselves, gonna live to serve…

Music Pick: Love Song, Canton Jones & New Album Dominionaire
A performance of Canton Jones’s “Love Song” (from the album Access Granted: The Password) on the show Check the Sound, reminding us that we can’t sing about love without first remembering the One who created it.
Love Song Lyrics:
Verse 1:
I made the heavens farther than the eye can see,
placed the stars in the sky, made the moon shine brightly.Woke you up with the sun shining through your window,
sing you a serenade every time the wind blows.See, the earth in all of its beauty, it all came from me,
(and if you don’t know),Take the time to look above,
and you’ll know you can’t sing about love…Without singing about me…
A new Canton Jones album, Dominionaire, is now in stores. Click here to order from his site and see the promo video for the album below.
