In Rotation: Put Your Love Glasses On Music Video from Beckah Shae
“I believe the most necessary thing in order to share God’s love, is to first truly receive God’s love… to spend time in His presence where He can remind us of who we are and how He sees us. That’s where I find my strength to share. We can’t pour out anything unless we’ve first been poured in to.” – Beckah Shae
Check out Beckah Shae’s video for her song #putyourloveglasseson from her album Destiny, which debuted in August:
“Love is the universal language of God. Paul urges us, ‘Make love your highest aim.’ This is what we have to be after. Love should be everything we’re seeking; for without it, everything means nothing. I wanted to create a movement that will stir up love and good works…“I know God’s allowed me to endure all the things I’ve gone through in life just to know Him better and develop a true compassion and genuine love for people. I’m on a mission to dive deeper into the heart of God, and I’m committed to sharing the truth and treasures I find while I’m in there! I am just one voice rising up to proclaim God’s truth and power for such a time as this. A great and terrible day is at hand, and it is my desire that through songs of victory, we will usher revelation and courage to those who are hungry, thirsty and willing to follow the narrow road.” – Beckah Shae

Inspiration: Blessings from Laura Story and the Story Behind the Song
“There is a blessedness that comes through waiting on the Lord. There’s an intimacy that comes in our walk with the Lord through walking through that valley. There’s a reliance on His word that we only know when everything else fades away…”
– Laura Story
This is the kind of song that can makes you think, and relate to how the trials in life may be blessings that grow us closer to God, from Laura Story’s album Blessings:
Below Laura Story gives the inspiration behind the song:
Laura’s Story
There’s no denying some of the blessings in Laura Story’s life. She wrote the No. 1 worship hit “Indescribable” recorded in 2004 by Chris Tomlin, married a handsome athlete named Martin Elvington the next year, and began working in music and women’s ministry at the 4,000-member Perimeter Church in Atlanta. After signing an artist deal with the INO Records, her 2008 national debut won a Dove Award for Inspirational Album and earned Laura two consecutive nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year—all blessings, indeed.
But amidst that success a brain tumor hospitalized her husband in 2006. The faith Story sang about was put through the unexpected fires of fear and loneliness; most young newlyweds don’t imagine being kept alive at one point by breathing machines or having to find their way through significant post-operative vision and memory loss. Could grace notes resound from such a life-altering struggle? Laura’s incisive new album, Blessings, suggests they do…

Lyrics
We pray for blessings
We pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering
All the while, You hear each spoken need
Yet love us way too much to give us lesser thingsCause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You’re near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

V. Rose ‘Not So Average’ Music Video
Get to know V.Rose, how she got started in music ministry and more in this question and answer introduction video:
“I love to sing! I have been singing since the age of 6. I write my own songs, play guitar, and co-produce my own music. I will not take for granted the gift I have been given. I am so grateful!” – V.Rose
More About V.Rose
V. Rose was born in Sacramento, CA and began singing at age 6. During her teenage years, she felt the Lord calling her to create relevant, Christ-centered music to reach the world, especially her peers. Her mother helped V start her first singing group with her best friend Candice. The duo, known as Harmony, sang everywhere from local churches to major platforms. At the age of 15, V’s manager brought the group to noted producer, ’SPEC’ to produce Harmony’s new album. SPEC fell in love with the girls on the spot. V. Rose, determined to persevere, worked at Jack-in-the-Box to pay for the group’s studio time!
In 2005, the group disbanded. Not willing to give up on the vision that God gave her and having no other options, V called her producer, SPEC. Before long, V signed a deal with Spechouse Media which assisted her in gaining more exposure-especially in northern California.
Since then, V.Rose featured on two of FLAME’s songs from the album Captured, including the hit single “Surrender.” V’s voice captivated listeners worldwide with her performance on the single. Shortly after, V.Rose signed to Clear Sight Music.
Her debut album, self-titled “V. Rose,” releases in stores and online on August 16, 2011. This album is an amazing fusion of Christian Contemporary, Pop, and Rock music. You will find current, trend-setting production and vocals, along with gospel saturated lyrics.

Steven Curtis Chapman’s New Album re:creation and Video for “Do Everything”
“As Christians we have this tendency to want to draw that line down the middle of life and go, ‘okay there’s my spiritual life and then there’s just life– a job, work and that kind of thing,’ but God is in the details. He’s interested in all of it. Every moment matters and everything we do really should be done as an act of worship.” – Steven Curtis Chapman
Steven Curtis Chapman recently released a new album entitled re:creation. Check out the story behind the album below:
The message of his song “Do Everything” is a great reminder that everything we do matters, and can all be done as a way to glorify God:
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 New International Version (NIV)

SOAR Artist Snapshots: Tiffany Stanley
“When we give our dreams to God, putting them all in His hands, and realizing that we need Him, that’s when He begins to work in mighty and powerful ways through us. Let us be a generation who stands for Christ, and love as He loves us. Young and old, let’s make an impact on the world together, as we join as one in Him.” – Tiffany Stanley
In SOAR’s Artist Snapshots Series we love to feature young upcoming artists who have inspiring music ministries. I came across Tiffany Stanley’s music one day and was encouraged by the candid messages in her songs, and the soft acoustic sound she brings.
I especially loved the lyrics of “Break Me Down” the first track off Tiffany Stanley’s new album ‘Revival’:
Visit Tiffany’s website at http://tiffanystanley.com to learn more about her ministry and to purchase her music. You can also connect with her on Twitter and Facebook.
Tiffany will be singing at an upcoming event, The Dream Girlz Gathering, hosted by music artist Melinda Watts. If you are in the Seattle area August 26th and 27th be sure to visit the Dream Girlz Gathering Facebook page to get updates.
More About Tiffany Stanley
Ever since she was a little girl, Tiffany dreamed of being more than a musician. It was in growing and developing a close and personal relationship with Christ that she knew music was more than the lyrics, chords, and notes. “To me, music is lifting up songs of worship to the Lord.” Tiffany is a musician in pursuit of Worship. “I want this music to promote the most important thing: Jesus Christ.”
Tiffany longs to share the love of Christ in her music, and show others His goodness, grace and mercy. She believes God is going to pour out revival among the nations, and prays that we as believers would rise up to encounter Christ in a whole new way. At 18 years of age, she has spent her first year after high-school enrolling in worship classes and letting God make the dream of making this album come true. She is extremely excited about what the Lord has planned, and knows it is all in His hands for the glory of His name.
Her independently released album Revival talks about exactly what it’s named: Revival. It’s about being justified in Christ, surrendering to His will, letting Him open your eyes, and coming boldly into His presence. “I didn’t want to just make an album, I wanted to tell a story of what a life in Christ is. Of needing Him every second of everyday, knowing one can’t be fulfilled without Him.” She believes in dreaming dreams, surrendering to Christ, and living in His love. “When we give our dreams to God, putting them all in His hands, and realizing that we need Him, that’s when He begins to work in mighty and powerful ways through us. Let us be a generation who stands for Christ, and love as He loves us. Young and old, let’s make an impact on the world together, as we join as one in Him.”
