Lecrae Overdose In Stores Now
Check out the latest video for the second installment of Lecrae’s album Rehab – The Overdose. You can visit Reach Records online to order.
Description of the album:
Around every corner is the lure to consume. A desire to be satisfied. Unfortunately no human being has found anything under the sun that brings satisfaction. So we consume more, and more, and more. Eventually we overdose. However, there is hope if Christianity is our Rehab. In Jesus satisfaction can be found. Grace, love, peace and hope can be found…and there is always more. Consume more of Jesus. Overdose.

Music Pick: Beautifully Made – Leah Smith
This soulful song “Beautifully Made” from Leah Smith’s EP of the same title, is a reminder of Psalm 139 and how we are made with God’s craftsmanship; how we shouldn’t measure ourselves by the world’s standards but through God’s word, knowing that we are fearfully and wonderfully made with purpose.
You can find Leah on Facebook or at www.leahsmithmusic.com to find out about her upcoming events and music. If you haven’t already, visit Itunes or Amazon to order the Beautifully Made EP – all of the songs are just as amazing!
“…I’ve had those times when I’ve looked into a mirror not happy at all at what I’d see… ‘Cause I don’t feel special, I don’t feel beautiful, I don’t feel smart enough, strong enough, good enough, feel like nothing at all. But at times like these I come back to the truth that I have found… I am beautifully and wonderfully made.” – Lyrics from Beautifully Made

Recap of Impact 2010: THE COME BACK Part 2
This is a continuation of the previous post about the Impact Movement’s conference for college and high school students. Click here for Part 1 of the Recap.
The Thursday (December 30th) online broadcast of Impact 2010 The COME BACK brought the four-day conference to a close but the powerful ministering and teaching was far from over…
In the morning the attendees went to various locations in the Atlanta community, including homeless shelters and juvenile detention centers for a Day of Outreach. They first got training on witnessing through a series of funny but real skits, discussions and practice sessions. After worship with the group SoulLoved and the praise team, Pastor James White brought a message on sacrifice and obedience, and the legacy of the conference.
Afterwards everyone headed out to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people around the city, a part of the conference the online audience couldn’t see. In the meantime web host (and Vice president of the Impact Movement) Rebecca Gilmer brought more behind the scenes interviews with attendees and Impact leaders.

Impact 2010: THE COME BACK – A Recap of My (Online) Experience Part 1
The room was dim and abuzz with excited energy and all around hearts were open to hear the word of God, to grow in His truth and experience Him in a new way. The speakers, music artists and others who took the stage imparted spiritual teachings and words of wisdom blended with humor and personable honesty to those in the audience. Even from my seat before my laptop at home I feel like I was there (or at least really wanted to be there) and could tell that Impact 2010: THE COME BACK was a conference not to miss…
I first heard about the Impact Movement, (a ministry that brings the truth of the Gospel to college campuses across the country), and its conferences from friends at my college and church that attended previous conferences. I’d listen to their stories and look longingly at their Facebook pictures with them laughing and fellowshipping with other college students and young adults and think to myself – ‘man, I wanna go too!’

I am letting go of all I’ve held

Everything that’s of myself.
and I just want to wait on You my God
I just want to dwell on who You are…”

Tedashii On “Make War” and Official Music Video
In this video from Rapzilla.com Tedashii talks about the meaning behind the song “Make War” from his album Identity Crisis:
Make War Official Music Video (Feat. FLAME)
Lyrics (Verse 2)
Do you even have a clue
What happened to you when He died
When that tomb got rolled when He rose in the sky
I think we emphasis sin so much
That it makes us paralyzed
And glorify struggle so much
That it makes us terrified
And deemphasize the fact that we have been sterilized from our own lives and thus
