The Bible tells us to give thanks at all times not just at Thanksgiving, but around this time each year we take the time to reflect on our blessings (and take part in the annual belly-stuffing).
As the editor of Dream in Soul I’m so thankful for the readers, the encouragement, the emails and messages, and especially the opportunity to potentially inspire others in Christ. To say thanks to all of our supporters Dream in Soul is partnering with Sol2Soul to give away T-Shirts of your choice to 3 of our Facebook Page members. The T-Shirts can be any chosen from the Dream in Soul Store, (not only the ones pictured above).
This contest is only open to U.S. Residents (sorry, we will try to make future contests open internationally). The contest closes November 24, 2010 at 11:59pm CT.
To enter, tell us why YOU are giving thanks to God this Thanksgiving season.
There are 2 Ways to Win (Updated):

Soul Dreamer Resource – Courage & Calling: Embracing Your God-Given Potential
God has called you – first to Himself, to know and follow Him,
but also to a specific life purpose, a particular reason for being. This second call, often termed a vocation, has implications for our work or occupation, but its ramifications reach far wider. It includes our giftedness, our weakness, our life in community, what we do day to day.
– From the description of the book “Courage & Calling: Embracing Your God-Given Potential” by Gordon T. Smith

Lecrae on Stretching Creatively and Unashamed 2010
In the video below Lecrae did an interview with Rapzilla.com some weeks back before the release of his album Rehab. In it he talks about pushing the creative envelope to produce music that both glorifies God in Biblically-sound content and in artistic excellence and quality:
In the weeks after the release Rehab not only reached lives around the world but hit No. 1 on the Billboard Contemporary Christian chart and No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. The album, Lecrae’s fourth, also broke into the Billboard Top 200 Albums debuting at No. 17, while reaching No. 3 on the Top 10 Albums chart on iTunes.
If you haven’t already, be sure to get the album on iTunes, Amazon, or on the Reach Records storefront. You can also experience REHAB live with the UNASHAMED 2010: THE MOVEMENT tour coming to a city near you. Click here to find out about tour dates and catch the tour promo below:

Editor’s Journal: A Circumstance Away
It is humbling to know that we each could be a few circumstances away from living eachother’s reality…
Above: Two girls from the village of Bahaya, one of the poorest areas that we were in, and where my mother and sister were born.
In July I journeyed to Haiti for the first time and was able to visit and meet family there, as well as do missions in various cities (Port Au Prince, Forte Liberte, Cap Haitien and some others). The trip was bittersweet with joyful moments laughing and talking with aunts, uncles and loads of cousins (many loads), but also being reminded of the shaking of the earth a few months before in the faces of those who survived, and how so many were lost on the ground we walked on…
A Home In Haiti
