The judges for this season include: Michelle Williams, former Destiny’s Child member; Stellar Award winner J. Moss; and one of the music industry’s most respected executives, Mitchell Solarek. Kimberly Locke, from American Idol, will serve as co-host with Mike Kasem (MTV’s Top 20 Video Countdown, American Top 10). returns to the gospel music scene with a brand new album, After the Storm. After an 8 year hiatus, O’Quin is back on a new label, Pendulum Records, to offer a dynamic CD with 15 power-filled songs.

The first single from the upcoming album, “Lead Me Jesus,” was #1 most added on the gospel charts when it debuted in March.  Since then, it has been steadily climbing the gospel charts each week. Sheri Jones-Moffett was recently signed to EMI Gospel, and her upcoming album Renewed will be available August 11, 2009 in stores and on and itunes.
Moffett has always been known as a collaborater and as a featured vocalist, from The Tri-City Singers to her duo work in Ted & Sheri, and you’ve heard her powerful voice behind many hit songs including the powerful Grammy nominated song "Encourage Yourself." This summer she’ll be making her debut as a solo artist.

Her first album Introducing Ayiesha Woods was nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album and for the Dove Award for New Artist Of The Year. Her second and latest release, Love Like This, came out in September 2008.

Woods’ style of music can be described as an eclectic mix of Christian pop and soul, and some compare her sound and style to “a blend of India Arie and Amy Grant”.

Blair Wingo of the Passion for Christ Movement, a youth and young adult church/movement located in Los Angeles, recites her powerful, original poem, “Don’t Add On,” and gives her testimony in the poem “All My Devotion Was Emotion.” In her poems, Wingo always tells it like it is, never tip-toeing around issues in the church, and conveying the meaning of a true relationship with God.
