We Are One No Matter What Color: Unity Beyond Race & Differences
“I have given them the glory that You gave me, that they may be one as We are one— I in them and You in Me — so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that You sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me.” – Jesus’ prayer (in John 17:22-23)
No matter what society says, no matter what we see in the news God’s children are one in Christ. No matter the color of our skin we are sisters and brothers, made in God’s love for a purpose – we’re better together as His family. God’s love is unconditional and with our different races and colors we show His creativity and intent for this world – we’re His masterpiece! Let’s live at peace and appreciate one another and stand up against darkness that has tried to divide and set us against each other since the beginning and throughout history.
Shout out to my friend and brother Joo Chan who I met at Christ for the Nations while we were taking vocal lessons – I’m so inspired by him! He’s a passionate singer with a heart for God and people and just dropped his first EP “Process”, woooo! Check out his page Joochan.com and be inspired by his amazing sound and words. He came to the U.S. from Korea and went to Israel for the summer and played and ministered to people and is a true example of breaking barriers of culture to reach his fellow sisters and brothers. Keep on sharing your gifts and heart Joo Chan! Love you bro (and thanks for taking time to play at our video shoot. Thanks also Cordell Franklin for your amazing heart and gift in cinematography)!
Love has already won and we are His warriors who battle from His victory against both spiritual darkness and groups who are lost in bondage & inexcusable mindsets. We stand up against hate and fight for love by taking action and being the change we want to see – sometimes that’s in sharing your gifts, having conversations with people who are different, creating movements and activism, speaking up through whatever platform you have, and coming together to strategize how we can stop history from repeating itself.
Let’s show the world what real unity is by serving our neighborhoods and uniting in making a difference. None of us have all the answers but together with God’s wisdom we are the answer – no matter what we are one. 1️⃣- Juene Fleurmond, Editor of DreaminSoul.com
Editor’s Vlog & Inspiration: Dream Deeper, Your Purpose and Love Can Change Lives
Dream deeper than how the world tells us to dream – your purpose could make someone’s day brighter just by you showing that you see them and care!✌❤️
Above is a snippet of my story that I shared on Periscope (join me @dreamfleur) of how my life has changed once I found true love. I spent the past few months at Christ for the Nations (I highly recommend that place for anyone who has a dream of changing the world and wants to connect with God in a deeper way to get more direction). One of the biggest lessons is that sometimes God wants us to step out of our comfort zone to reach out to the people around us that we don’t know, to show them love and maybe pray for them if we feel led to.
Our dreams can have a platform that reaches so many people but at times God wants us to get out of our comfort zone to talk to one person and see how they’re doing, and to share His love with them – it could make all the difference in their world!
Dream BIG and dare to dream deeper, seeing people like God sees them, with live, reaching out to the lonely and the overlooked. It fills you up with so much joy to know you made a difference on someone’s life and in turn you change the world!
Below is one of the devotions I wrote for CFNI on this topic of being love to people to change the world:
“…Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.” Mark 9:36
Our culture often looks to crowds and numbers as a measure of influence, especially in our social media-driven world. Even in ministry we could get distracted by being overly focused on status and boosting our numbers.
Jesus did teach crowds and feed multitudes but He also did significant ministry work on the personal level. There was the moment He looked tenderly into the face of the woman at the well and several times when He stopped to heal determined individuals who were in need.
Loving others is our call, but how often do we leave our comfort zones and the church building to love people one-on-one? Are we too distracted striving to be great to notice individuals God has placed in our path for a greater purpose? When we cultivate relationships with others and genuinely show compassion they’ll tangibly experience God’s love.
Let’s ask God to give us eyes to see those who feel invisible and forgotten, the downcast and weary. We can heal the broken-hearted and set captives free through love and service – if we dare to get uncomfortable and personal. -Julene Fleurmond #cfnidevotionals #relationships Find more inspiration and nourishment for your spirit on my blog http://dreamfleur.com.

God’s Love Sets Us Free to Play and Dream… Editor’s Journal and Inspiration From Bethel Music

Let us learn to trust the heart of Love from which freedom flows and everything begins…
We began our journey on this Earth with the freedom to discover, to explore with wide-eyed wonder, we dreamed, we played naturally – until we lost our trust and fear drew us away from our real life reverie and the freedom that is ours…
What would happened if we embraced the childlike freedom to dream and play again?
I’ve been learning the freedom of having childlike faith and joy since interning at the children’s ministry at my church and seeing how full of joy and wonder the kids are…
Permission to Play Flourish Conference
Flourish 2015 Conference Recap from Covenant Church on Vimeo.
Recently at my church the theme of the women’s ministry conference was “Permission to Play” and when I heard it announced it was like a nudge of confirmation. God has been instilling the lesson of trusting Him in me for the past few years – since He rocked my world in a vivid encounter in 2009 giving me visions of God’s deep love for us…
In one of the visions I saw little kids giggling and playing dress up, and it was as if He was showing me how joyous and free like kids we were meant to be. In another I was in a vast forest that reminded me of the Garden and I was a little girl dancing in a pure white dress asking my Daddy question after question, trying to make sense of life and why things are the way they are.
His response was a deep, extravagant impartation of His love, a glimpse of His passionate plan from the Beginning to end, for us His children, to discover His love and dwell with Him forever and words I will never forget: “Do you trust Me?”
Trust is so important in the journey of purpose and living out the dreams we were made for! Jesus Himself says that it’s like a child that we enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Let’s just rest, play, embrace joy and trust Him, not leaning on our own understanding – He’s got you covered!
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3-4
