When the World Is Dark Rise Up and Be the Light

When we see darkness in the world be the light and speak life. Let love and purpose be your motivation to bring hope to the people you’re meant to impact. Keep creating & making the world more beautiful. Never fall into the trap of racism, of hatred, of being the darkness that causes destruction or of apathy thinking you can’t make a difference but be the light that leads others to solutions, hope and a greater Truth.

Ever since I was younger God has put in my heart the importance of knowing the time we live in. One day He said to me in visions, “Jesus is coming back” and He put an urgency in my heart for my purpose. My question is do we believers live like we believe that? Do we see signs that line up with what’s in the Bible? Do we look away to fit in with culture or focus on just being content for ourselves?

What He’s reminded me of for years is the importance of having our lamps full of oil in intimacy like the wise virgins in Matthew 25 so that we know how to stand when the world shakes – nah to intervene before it shakes – & how to be the revival to lead others to Him. Our unity & being one is a major beat on His heart – one of my professors Will Ford III founder of 818 The Sign a powerful prophetic gathering says “a united church can heal a divided nation.” Together we are stronger & have solutions to transform the world & to demonstrate true family and reconciliation to those around us. This is not a message you see all the time – some may call it weird or “too serious” but it’s oh so important & a call God has put on my life. I think it’s a joy to walk differently – it’s kind of like being the Avengers 💁🏾‍♀️ or something – walking in your purpose, and connecting with God & Kingdom family is your superpower – you’ve got what no one else has. It’s about knowing who we are and that our hope is in a greater Leader and 👑 Kingdom. You can take part in the greatest story ever told, better than any movie.🎥 Let us share good news & light the world.🔥

Great Battles Are Proof of Great Blessings: Encouragement for Your Purpose

Listen – God said what He said. 💁🏾‍♀️ You’ve got to exercise your #faith to believe it and do what He said. Don’t look at circumstances and get discouraged by what it looks like. Great battles are just proof of great blessings available to you. Don’t get distracted by storms & setbacks but let them be evidence of your great purpose & that you should prepare for the promise. They also remind us that our greatest blessing and promise is God Himself, His love 💖 and presence in our lives. Never get so focused on a certain outcome that you lose the peace that comes when you know that with God you have everything.
.
Darts may fly – like memories of your past or what looks like a contradiction to the #prophetic word but they are lies in the light of God’s truth and redemptive power. Don’t allow them to cause you to stress but to make you stronger and steadfast knowing what God said.

This goes for the body of Christ as well. The enemy knows when we’re in the opportune time of a great harvest and his time is short and so darkness tries to throw battles and distractions our way. Let’s stand in God’s truth and know that He has the best in mind for us – we won’t be shaken but we will take this opportunity to do His will to be a blessing to others leading them to Truth and salvation.

God said it – that settles it. Believe it.

For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. Hebrews 10:36

For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20

The World Needs the Real You: Dare to Share Your Story

The👏🏾 world👏🏾 needs👏🏾 the👏🏾 real👏🏾 you👏🏾…not the perfectly curated version of you, the highlight reel we often see and share on social media. That perfection often leads others and ourselves in the bondage of worshipping self and other humans and creations instead of the Creator and having to keep up with an unrealistic image. Chiiillee we know you didn’t wake up like that and that’s okay.💁🏾‍♀️ We love you just the way you are.
.
Revealing flaws in your life and past (and by past I also mean like 20 minutes ago when you were not so nice on the road👀😅) as a way of sharing your humanity and imperfection as you’re being perfected by God allows others to realize they can too improve- that they aren’t too far gone to be redeemed.
.
When you dare to be vulnerable and share your story and journey you set your own heart free and you’re better able to reach the hearts of the people you’re meant to reach. Sharing your heart and the true you, the you that God created on purpose and is continually refining is a 🔑 that can help unlock people’s hearts to His love and redeeming power – so dare to be real & really you.✨💖👑💎

Remember To See the Beauty and Love

Working with kids can give you renewed perspective on life and what’s important – at least that’s how it’s been for me the past few weeks. I often think God let’s us be parents (natural or spiritual) and caregivers so we can see certain things from His perspective (especially when little kids say funny things…or when they be testin you)…
.
We can get caught up in the flurry of life, in the happenings of our world, the buzz of social media and in our pursuit for the next that we don’t always appreciate the presence of hope and purpose all around us.
.
See the thoughtful details and love in God’s masterful creation big and small: The delicate artistry of a flower and the intricate roots of a family tree. The contagious smile of a baby & the reminder kids give us to be hopeful, get up when we fall, continuously learn, rediscover what we think is ordinary and to dream higher. The wisdom in the faces and experiences of our elders. The importance and vibrancy of a community of generations learning from one another and growing together. The value and unique reflection of God’s heart in every person. The preciousness of life itself.
.
Take time to savor the beauty of families and friendships (as imperfect as they can be), the laughter and the tears that create stories that can be redeemed.
.
Pause and stand in awe of the greatness of our God. He is so good! He wants to be involved in our lives and we can trust Him. His ways and thoughts are greater than ours. Seize the hope that with God we can bring healing to our world.
.
See the lessons, gifts and growing opportunities in every experience, how there’s no condemnation for us in the love of Jesus but the freedom to become more to transform our lives and the worlds of others.
.
Every moment seize the opportunity to be freer, to know God deeper. To be all He created you to be. Breathe, know His love and let gratitude liberate you!
.
There’s so much to be thankful for. Thank you for being you – sending so much love to you and yours. “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” Psalm 107:1

Dreaming of Love: Relationship Goals Series from Michael Todd of Transformation Church

In part 1 of the Relationship Goals series from Michael Todd, pastor at Transformation Church he breaks down what’s at the heart of our desire for romantic relationships and how we can be more purposeful in our time of singleness. I love Pastor Todd’s delivery and humor as he shares his heart on God’s desire and design for relationships that make them more worthwhile.
